I generally offer optional Karaoke to your standard Disco booking. This is payable by the hour, if required. You also have the option to upgrade your sound & lighting for larger events /venues & themed events (For example, Neon UV light Dance parties) 

For those on a limited budget or not needing a DJ, I can also offer DIY equipment hire packages to keep things simple & save you money.


Experience matters

I have provided DJ entertainment for all sorts of events throughout Cornwall since 2000. Before that I was Djing as youngster since 1994 & played my first nightclub aged 17.

From private birthday parties & weddings, to organisations including McDonalds, Moose Toys, Exeter University, Local Schools, Community events, Charity events, Sports award ceremonies, Fundraisers & Festivals inc Boardmasters. I have also worked in conjunction with Kool Entertainment since 2007 for all kinds of private and commercial events, including the Ibiza Sundown sessions at Fistral Beach hotel & Open format DJ sets at The Lounge in Truro. This has included lots of open format DJ sets, where the genres are varied and blended together to suit the event. Being able to handle a diverse range of genres across the decades means i can often quickly handle guests requests or make sense of their suggestion, which translates into happy guests and a thriving dancefloor! In addition to DJ'ing, I am also an experienced Children & Youth worker with experience entertaining & educating Children & Adults DJing and Music production. In 2018 I took on a young man with additional needs & taught him to DJ. By 2020 He was ready to do his own gigs independently. Being good with young people & all ages means i can help bring a more inclusive and happy vibe to your event, making sure everyone is included & involved.

All equipment is professional grade & operated by myself (DJ Dan, aka D-Widdy) an experienced pro DJ Entertainer / Sound Engineer. Equipment is PAT tested annually for your safety and peace of mind & I have a safe system of work to help prevent any incidents. Most recently I have completed a safeguarding qualification )June, 2026) . This further enhances the quality of the service I provide & enhances the safety of vulnerable people and children.

Music
Music is always based on your key preferences & fine tuned to suit on the night. Requests can be taken & your playlist ideas are always welcomed. General announcements & crowd engagement is not an issue, if required.
